Donate Furniture
Furnish to Flourish (previously known as Dorcas Project) is often asked to help people who are setting up home without anything and it is therefore the basic items that are the most needed. Please click here for further details of our furniture requirements
Items we need include: -
- Beds (single, double, king, bunks, toddler - we also take separate mattresses and bases)
- Cots
- Wardrobes (single)
- Chest of drawers
- Bedside Cabinets
- Rugs
- Sofa’s / three-piece Suites (see furniture requirements)
- Tables (drop leaf / gateleg) and chairs
- Coffee tables
- TV Units
- Bookcases (small)
- Small electrical items – kettles, toasters, microwaves, lamps, vaccums
- Crockery and cutlery
- Saucepans
- Kitchen utensils
- Jugs, casserole dishes, baking trays, chopping boards, graters etc.
- Bedding – please check with the office first as we often get overwhelmed
- Curtains
- Towels
- Tea Towels
If you can make a donation of up to £10 this helps with our operating costs, however there is no oblication to do so. This can be handed to our driver at the point of collection. Your support with this is very much appreciated.
