SCRATCH is seeking a General Manager to join us as we seek to consolidate and build on our important work in alleviating hardship for families and individuals in Southampton and the local area. The successful applicant will be pro-active, determined to serve our clients and will bring with them a strong track record of leadership. They must be a good communicator, very adaptable and be able to work with staff, volunteers and funders to ensure that SCRATCH continues to flourish and meet its objectives.
DUTIES INCLUDE: -
- In partnership with the SCRATCH Board be responsible for setting and executing the SCRATCH organisational strategy and Business Plan.
- To carry out various General duties to ensure SCRATCH is operating in a safe and legal manner.
- Financial duties – including preparation of budgets, accounts, VAT returns and Payroll.
- External relations – maintaining and developing external relations, developing funding opportunities and completing funding returns.
- Site Management - Overall responsibility for ensuring the SCRATCH site is maintained in a safe, legally compliant manner.

This post in located at our office based on Mount Pleasant Industrial Estate in Southampton.The annual salary is £40,000 for a 4-day week. The holiday entitlement will be 20 days plus bank holidays.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Board of Trustees
