Shops

SCRATCH operates two shops which are open 10am to 4pm weekdays.

The shops sell a wide variety of furniture, bric-a-brac and books as well as upcycled furniture and items made by upcycling pallets which have been created by our great volunteer team.

The aim is fourfold:

• to create an income from SCRATCH to help create sustainability as an outlet for items collected that are surplus to the requirements of Dorcas Project
   
• to help reduce the number of items that get sent to landfill
   
• to provide volunteering opportunities for the sale of upcycled and new items created by our volunteers
   
• to offer very competitive prices to low income families who might not qualify for help via Dorcas Project and those that wish to have an element of choice.
