Southampton City and Region Action to Combat Hardship
SCRATCH provides services which relieve the effects of hardship, disadvantage and poverty for individuals and families living in Southampton and the surrounding area.
You can find out more about all the projects we run in What We Do , but here are a few examples:
DORCAS Project provides good quality furniture and household items
CHRISTMAS COMPLETE provides toys and gifts for youngsters who might go without
COMMUNITY RE-PAINT redistributes donated paint
CRUMBS/FARESHARE tackling food poverty and food waste
Thank you to everyone who has so far helped at with the Neighbourhood Food Collection for Fareshare at Tesco stores. We need additional help today at Millbrook between 12-6pm and Bursledon 3-9 pm. Tomorrow extra volunteers are required at Millbrook between 9-12, Bursledon 3-9 and Whitley 12-9pm. If you are able to help out can you please contact Annie on 07889 410166.
