SCRATCH has recently joined the Payroll Giving scheme.

This scheme aims to encourage giving to charity by allowing donations to be taken from 'pre-tax' salary.  In effect, a Basic Raes taxpayer would pay £7.80 from their pay in order for their chosen charity to receive £9.75 (a fee of 25p is paid to Stewardship, the organisation we have chosen to operate the scheme).

If you are in paid employment, please consider suggesting this scheme to your employer.
